OJ and our crazy world.

catholocism | distractions | OJ Simpson

Are you kidding me? FoxNews.com has a Catholic priest featured in its "Fox Fan Central" section telling us, the American Public, to forgive O.J. Simpson for his alleged killing spree. Father Jonathan Morris says that he still has hope for O.J.'s public and personal redemption if he did indeed commit the crime.

Now I am by no means a good Catholic, but by my understanding, you have to actually admit that you have done wrong to be forgiven. And as far as I understand, O.J.'s book, although it essentially admits his guilt, does not actualy admit that he did it.

As much as I would like to vent on this more, this whole O.J. thing is merely a distraction from the things that we should really be paying attention to. Our president is sending our kids half way across the country to die, and is taking the lives of thousands of Iraqis all for a fraudulent war that should never have been started. So speak your piece about O.J., be appalled at his audacity, and move on. In the grand scheme of things, it's fairly irrelevant.
