Office Lighting

The relationship between lighting and work productivity is comparable to the relationship between lighting and a worker's emotional health. Everyone suffers from depression in the later months of the winter.

However, not any lighting will do. The 'type' of light produced is more important than the intensity. Even though a bright light is better than nothing, the UV light given off is important.

The lighting should also be artistic. The first thought of many work at home business owners is to install fluorescent. Instead, it should be something simple, but decorative. It should allow the light to be directed.

Even a couple light fixtures that direct the light onto the wall, lightening the room, and creating a pattern on the wall that lightens everything up - will improve a worker's productivity.
