Of course I find exactly the product I need after I don't need it anymore.

A while back my computer went belly up. It was giving me the blue screen of death a lot, and eventually, it stopped working all together. I finally got everything recovered, downloaded backup software, and waited.

Sure enough, it started doing it again.

I knew it was a software compatibility issue, but I didn't know which one was causing it. And the second time I tried to recover it, it didn't work. So, I went with the nuclear option. I used the reinstall disk. And I mean that I reinstalled EVERYTHING.

Well, after I did this, I found out that my backup disks would not load on my computer. Nice. I had a brand new computer with none of the all-important files and bookmarks I needed. Finally, I was able to recover pics, documents, and bookmarks, but that was it. I figured I could reinstall any programs I needed.

Sure enough. Today I found a program that would have taken care of the problems I was having. It cleans up registry entries, junk files, etc. It certainly would have found the offending file and taken it off.
