Of Children And Tablecloths

I don't particularly like our pink plastic tablecloth, but it serves a purpose. I don't think I've used a proper tablecloth – out of cloth – since I had a child. That was just one more bit of washing I didn't need to do. Instead, we now cover the table with plastic, which makes it easy to wipe up any spills. It's not as good to look at, though.
