Obama Should Stop Placating Those That Would Question His Abilities.
When will the Republicans "get it?" My guess is never! Despite the FACTS and despite the many, many times that Obama has said what he wants to do and what he will do, they keep yammering on about how he doesn't tell us anything? The truth of the matter is if one where to hold up a mirror every time those fools ask that question, they would see themselves and McCain staring back with that blank stare he and Bush share. If they do not UNDERSTAND what Obama is saying then they need to either get lobotomies and allow the rest of thinking Americans a break from their incessant whining or they need to listen with "grown ups ears" Obama has explained his position on virtually every single point and yet they keep saying that they don't hear his plans to help this country get back on it's feet...so let me help them...HE WILL DO WHATEVER BUSH AND McCAIN WONT DO>>>OK? GET IT YET???? These are not idle thoughts these are FACTS!!

I have wondered about that too. I just don't get it. The Republicans ignore questions and keep asking the same ones over and over as if they are all deaf old men. Palin isn't doing much talking. She seems rather mute and I can't help but wonder if the Republicans are keeping her quiet on purpose so the luster doesn't fade when she opens her mouth. When are the Democrats going to use some of McCains stupid statements in the ads? I can't believe they aren't hammering away at his gaffaws because there are so many of them to choose.

is a serious comeback ad depicting the three (McCain, Palin and Rudy) sneering at Obama for doing community service work...then they could pan to any number of GREAT people (Fire fighters would be brilliant) that do all sorts of community work! That would be one great way to seriously show who the TRUE elitist's are. As far as Palin keeping quiet goes...well yeah, she is one stupid comment away from Americans understanding exactly why she was picked...and the Republicans are scared that she will blow it. They should be scared, they can't come up with any decent plans on any of the issues so they believe that with smoke and mirrors Americans will just go along with it.

La Palin is not required to do any interviews or news conferences if they choose not to allow her...so my guess is she will stay away..but that in a skewed sense is good because when she ignores the media, they in turn become more curious, and so they will dig up her past big time! I hope to hell they fry her sorry ass! We all have a past and I am sure she will be vetted by the media simply because she was never vetted by the Republicans to begin with...personally she would have been better off had her right wing buddies done the required vetting, but it's too late now and she will have some dirt dug up because she is a hypocrite, so she is bound to prove it.

When Palin entered the political arena all bets were off as to her sex...as should be...but they can't have it both ways, she wanted in on this fight than she should be able to take the heat, as any man would. Talk about hypocritical! And I also believe that Hillary should go for the jugular being that she is another woman they can't very well accuse her of being too "mean"...we shall see.

Butit looks like the press is already making excuses for her. hillary said she will not critcize her....why not? Look at what McCain and everyone else did to her. Why is Palin getting the soft gloves treatment? I have seen Democrats do this before and they lost every election.
You know, I think that the Obama camp needs to start
spelling things out in a big way - big, Big, BIG!!!!! Sheeple repeat what they hear on the TV and the radio. So, when some asswipe Faux News anchor says that Obama has not told us what he will do to bring the country around, every idiot who hears it repeats it. I've been listening to Obama since before day 1 and he has always stated very clearly what he wants to do and how he plans to do it. But then, I haven't been letting some talking head interpret what he says, I've actually listened to him myself.
So, I think now is the time for a whole slew of 30 second ads with great big letters like:
"BARACK OBAMA PLANS TO ELIMINATE BIG CORPORATE TAX BREAKS, ESPECIALLY TAX BREAKS TO CORPORATIONS THAT SEND U.S. JOBS OVERSEAS."
"BARACK OBAMA WILL CUT TAXES FOR WORKING AMERICANS WHO MAKE LESS THAN $250,000 PER YEAR."
And so on and so forth. It's time to start flooding the airwaves with facts, with the truth. And I think it would be great to see a screen with Obama's tax plans on one side and McCain's on the other with a total of what the average American family will pay under each side. I think that would hit lots of people right between the eyes.
Obama needs to start fighting back at the far right's propaganda with facts - and he needs to do it NOW!!!

he doesn't just have to fight the gigantic Republican lie machine...he also has to fight CNN and The Fox Trot channels...Despite popular belief McCain is doing a good job lying through his bad teeth...My take on it the Democrats need to take off the gloves and let both McCain and Palin have it...if they believe it will lose the election, doing nothing is a sure fire bet they lose it anyways.

Very few of the "masses" actually reads the Huffington Post..I wish it were mandatory reading but alas it is not...on the other hand if he would turn the print into a tv ad it would reach that many more people.

But the 2nd link is to an ad that he is running on TV. The problem is, right now, most of those ads are just running in targeted states, not all over.
But here we go again with my problems with the media. Every time McCain or Palin open their mouths to order a fucking cheeseburger it gets splashed all over every television channel and printed in every paper and on every website. But let Obama give a fantastic speech and no one hears about it.

in the end it is far more cost effective to allow all Americans to see these ads...CNN etc. think that the sensationalism of Palin is buttering their bread...what they fail to understand is that if McCain/Palin win there wont be any bread left. Their credibility is at stake here too, and yet they insist on treating their own viewers like fools.
