The thing is that I didn't really see that one coming. Simon Cowell had even gone as far as calling her "the best female vocalist on the show, ever". And now this?

TMZ reports that it may have had more to do with her "anti-gay affiliations". Hmm... anti-gay affiliations? I guess these days, being Christian means you're anti-gay.

Anyway, so now we're down to 8... and this week is Queen Night! Can't wait to see who's going to tackle Bohemian Rhapsody. Rumor has it that this is Kellie Pickler's song choice.

This is the part of my blog where I was going to write about last week's highlights. Problem is.. there were none. I was unimpressed (although it WAS nice to hear Chris Daughtry sing instead of scream this week.)

Anyway, although I ♥ American Idol... not everybody does. In fact, some people really, really, really hate American Idol.

Help point out to Fox how pointless and boring this show really is and sign the petition to hopefully get this show cancelled.
