My wife wants a kitty. Actually, she wants a kitten and a puppy. We had three cats before we left Michigan and they were all the love of our life. But we had to give them up, and I regret it everyday. We could afford pet supplies when we lived in Michigan, though. I don’t think we could afford them here in California. Besides, the apartment wants a $500 deposit if we get a cat, and I know we definitely cannot afford that. That’s money that could go for paying our bills or getting a car. Besides, it’s too soon for me to get attached to some new pets again. It broke my heart to get rid of our other three…and I’m just not ready.
