Thus the story of a couple in Australia who have had two children, one that didn't survive, and turn out to be father and daughter.

The story goes that the father and daughter didn't know they were related when they met, as the father had been separated from the daughter while she was a baby, they fell in love, and later learned they were related. But it was too late to stop them at that point, and, therefore, two children.

The courts have gotten into the mix telling them they're not allowed to have more children, which should be interesting to see what happens if they do. The girl's mother says the couple are lying because they supposedly talked over the years and is outraged, as is his younger daughter from a second marriage.

For once, this isn't an American tale, coming from Australia instead, and, of all things, they went on their version of 60 Minutes to talk about it. I'm trying to imagine Morley Safer conducting this interview.
