The Question Is WHY???

The concept of suicide to some may seem glamorous, especially to kids...but my guess is that they think of it as "I'll show them, I'll hurt myself"...they fail to understand that death is a permanent solution to a temporary situation.

This blog is dedicated to my good friend and one time boss Linda...may she rest in peace.

The life Linda led was somewhat complex...you see she used to be a he. She was well into her 80s when she put a bullet between her eyes the day before yesterday. And I only found out about it today...I am still in shock.

What I do not understand is why? This is a woman that went through all kinds of absolute horrors and yet managed to keep it together...When she was a happily married he, his son died in a horrible accident! He at that point flipped out and decided that he literally could no longer live in his own skin! So he got a divorce and became a she!

I can imagine the pain because I too lost a son when he was 6 months old...my grief still lives with me. Linda had her own grieving process. She opened a great restaurant that thrived for over 28 years...then due to this economy suddenly she closed the doors less then two months ago. People are saying she could not stand being in debt...over $60.000 thousand dollars worth...and yet after all the true pain she had, this would be the reason?

The world will miss her incredible wit and her ability to take on anything at the drop of a hat. I just hope her soul is finally at peace...no one deserved peace more then she did.
