NO TV??? yes, I'm serious!
As you could tell from my previous post, I enjoy reality TV. IN fact, I enjoy it SO much, it's really become almost crippling. What's become really scary, is that I watch my kids becoming "addicted" to their favorite shows as well. And I really don't like that.
Since TODAY is the last day of school, my husband and I have made the radical decision to cancel our cable subscription for the summer. NO TV FOR THREE MONTHS!!! WOW.
Ok... I can do this. In fact, I'm really looking forward to spending the summer DOING things with my kids. I'm so excited about it, in fact, that I'm going to blog about it here:

And may you find it in you to make the ban permanent, as I have. There's too much life out there to be wasting it sitting in front of the TV, watching the absurd fantasies that are sold as "reality" and that contribute to our inability literally to think outside the (idiot) box.
