Nintendo Wii Game Review: Cooking Mama

Athens | Law Offices | nintendo wii

Yep, my wife and I took the Dive, and bought this title. I must say...... I hate it. Honestly there is no need for another title that's sole purpose is to show off the Wii's controler. Quite frankly, I wish they'd of just spent the time making a better version of Wii sports than this game. The graphics are ok, good for the Wii's standards. The gameplay itself is...tedious. When your not wondering why you can't go from peeling to can-opening without returning to the main screen and getting scored, you'll be wondering why you can't take that knife and chop off your fingers.

Alright... it wasn't that bad. This game is the only one i've played thus far that seems to ignore the Wii controler, even part of the time. If it wasn't for the fact that the game just feels like a complete Warrior Ware clone, then it would be fine, unfortunatly i'm going to trade it in.... yep, it passes with slightly addictive game-play. But the broken pieces, especially considering this whole game relies 100% on the Wii controller working, make it nearly unbareable for me to play.
I score it a 4/10.
