It is true, Nicole Kidman has announced that she is pregnant!

Nicole, and her husband of 18 months Keith Urban, announced the news of Nicole’s pregnancy to their families over the Christmas holiday.

There has been speculation that the baby will be born in the Spring or Summer for 2008.

Soon after Nicole and Tom Cruise split, Nicole revealed she had suffered an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage while married to Tom. Ectopic pregnancies usually occur in the right fallopian tube, and because the fetus is growing in the fallopian tube, surgery is often required to remove that part of the tube. After the surgery, it can be very difficult to get pregnant.

Nicole is due to film The Reader with Ralph Fiennes and British director Stephen Daldry in Berlin next month, but has no more cinema work planned after that. The timing is perfect since Tom is just wrapping up his filming in Germany.
