News Trail March 30, 2006: IN WAKE OF ISRAELI PULLOUT, EGYPT CONTROLS PA March 30, 2006

Egypt is one the oldest countries in the world. A friend of mine told me informally that the country is over 7000 years old. I find it interesting the relationship that Egypt has with Israel. Egypt was always seen as a worldly force to be dealt with. Even though she (Egypt) is not a Superpower like the EU or the fading US and one time USSR she has an interesting role to play with the PA who claims that Israel is on their land. Will Egypt have a stronger role to play in these latter times to rule over Israel as she once did several millenia ago?

thought. I would have guessed China or Japan. Key in EU is that the EU countries build a strong bond.
I do have concerns that if the US does not start to clean up some problem areas, the future may be less bright.

and perhaps not. Britain doesn't really want to be overpowered by an EU that will be dominated by a German state.

China and Japan...
are leading up to have economic and industrial sumpremecy respectively but will not have the worldly or global influence of that of a superpower. The US is a superpower, it has global influence.
