It is amazing how this Al Qaida (Al Qaeda, different pronounciation and spelling: Al Ki-da or Al Ki-ee-da vs Al Kay-da) group got so much real press in North America since 911. I am sure the news buffs (those who keep abreast of all the world happening would have known more about the dreaded terrorist and religious sect pre-911.
