New worm unleashed – attacks are through yahoo mails

A new email worm taking advantage of a flaw in the Yahoo's Web mail system is spreading fast. The worm, named "JS.Yamanner@m", mainly redirects the person who opens an inflicted email to advertising sites. The person’s e-mail address book is also attacked and sends mails to the persons in the address book.

It quite is different from the already known e-mail-based worms as it launches the movement the person opens the e-mail. Earlier viruses mostly attacked only when the attachments were opened. The virus has New Graphic site in the subject field and “av@yahoo.com
