New Wave Communications gets a big thumb down

About 8 months ago, I decided to go with cable internet.

I heard really great things about it.

So I contacted my local cable company (Charter Communications), and I got signed up.

For the first month I was thrilled. I could surf a lot faster, plus I could actually upload pictures. Something that I wasn't able to do with AT&T.

After a month, I got a letter stating that New Wave Communications had purchased Charter. They would be my new cable and internet service provider. No big deal.

Or so I thought.

Since New Wave Communications has taken over, it has been one nightmare after another. Daily, I experience problems with my internet service. Especially after 5 PM. I learned that this can happen based on how many people in a certain area have cable internet with the same company. Unfortunately, there is only one cable company here.

They ended up doing a lot of price changes. Everyone received notifications that for months they had been charging the wrong prices. What major company does this?

Not to mention, the cable plus internet will sometimes be out the entire day! Today was one of those days. From 8 AM to 5 PM, noone had cable or internet.

So my daily problems with New Wave Communications is not going to stop. As I mentioned before, the internet service doesn't work correctly after 5 pm. You can click on links, attempt to visit Google, or check your Outlook Express and it will just time out. What a disappointment. I don't like AT&T, so it seems like I am stuck paying for a crappy service until I move.
