New Simple Ways To Save Your Child's Life

I was enduring an endless wait at a doctor's office when I spied a woman wearing a search and rescue t-shirt. Simple curiosity led me to engage her in conversation. This nameless hero left me with two life saving tips that all parents should know.
Go to your kitchen, right now, and get a zip lock bag. Put a label with today's date on it. Place a lock of your child's hair in it (if you cut it from the nape of the neck, no one will probably notice before it grows back). Now, have your child breathe into the bag and seal it tight. Store it in your your freezer. Repeat every 5 years.
If, God forbid, your child turns up missing, you now have his scent and dna to aid the rescue teams and search dogs in finding and identifying your child that much faster.
Want an extra piece of advice? Police offer safety seminars on a regular basis. Get your child printed, attach a current photo, and update the pic every six months to a year.
Now get out from in front of the computer, act on these tips, and pray you never need these life saving items.
