New Media Can Be Podblogging

bugsey's picture

I have been doing an intellectually honest blog on the possibility of earning a reasonable income by blogging. That led me to view and review one site which practically "explodes" with blogs and podblogs.

I took a particular interest in "podblogging" because it is the NOW thing, much as websites were the "before". I listened to some podblogs and I was vastly entertained by the creativity and sometimes, even the commentary. Most podblogs are interviews, some are obviously plain Political PR while some are personally honest fun blogs. Or a KAREOKE podcast? Or some president doing the State of the Nation on podcasr (Bush did it).

Imagine a podblogging explosion? I wonder how much would the domain name http://www.podblogging.com cost today. Imagine having that domain name and starting sub-domains of podbloggers? wouldn't that be like a "thousand commentaries and advocacies" industry?

Can you imagine a whole podblogging group with "intelligent" specialties under ONE common Podblogging.com network and subdomains such as http://podblogging.com/peaceadvocacy? Or http://www.podblogging.com/dogtraining? The potential of that domain is limitless, after all, podblogger's are a generic community.

Imagine if YOU OWN the domain podblogging.com and put up something like a "podcasting carnival" (like the blogging carnival) in her GENERIC podbloggong.com site? If she did that, she would probably fetch google's and adsense attention!!! And that would sell MORE than millions.

Would that mean that it can be a network that can be filled with ALL the radio stations in the world? Would it mean that we can log in to the site and listen to our favorite music? Would it mean that it would be a NEW media where ANYONE can say anything and write anything while literally shouting?

Would it be mainstream media for every kind of advocacy? Would the Moor put his favorite jazz there? Would we get to make our own home videos or "movies" on the site? I wonder..... I just saw Imelda Marcos and her shoes on some podcast !! LOL!!!
