The ppl at the google press centre recently showcased some new features/ideas. google co-op is an open source-like forum. we likeada open source.

Google Trends is an interesting little feature that allows you to display graphs based on what ppl all over the world are googling.
There is also Google Notebook. It is described as, "a simple way for users to save and organize their thoughts when conducting research online. This personal browser tool permits users to clip text, images, and links from the pages they're browsing, save them to an online 'notebook' that is accessible from any computer, and share them with others."

Google is such a forward thinking entity. They are not stifling innovation by trying to strong arm competition. They encourage growth and participation of end users. Despite the google china censoring, I pretty much adore what they have been doing. I hope I don't have to eat my words in the long run.
