Natural Remedies for Arthritis

Arthritis can be a very painful and debilitating condition. It affects the joints and bones of the body. The bone becomes distorted and the joint becomes swollen, stiff and painful.

If you are looking for a natural home remedy to help with arthritis, then there are a few available.

-Turmeric is quite a good remedy for arthritis, so try and use it in cooking. Put a teaspoon of ground turmeric in warm milk, and drink three times a day.

-Cider Vinegar is also another cure worth trying. Mix three teaspoons of cider vinegar with honey in warm water, and drink first thing in the morning.

-Nettle is another tried and tested remedy that helps arthritis. Drink nettle tea, or make nettle soup from fresh nettle tops, chopped onion and garlic.

-Potatoes can help to relieve pain, as they have excellent anti-inflammatory properties. Make a potato poultice by boiling 450g of unskinned potatoes, until tender. Then place them in a muslin cloth, and mash. Apply this poultice to the affected area, and keep it there until it has completely cooled down.

-Oily fish should be eaten three times a week.

-Celery and celery juice is also very helpful with arthritic conditions. Try to drink at least three glasses of diluted juice a day.
