Nat West Bank

I regularly visit the Telford branch of the Nat West bank. I go there because it is convenient for work. The branch is quite small compared to the ones in the bigger towns and cities across the UK.

The branch has five cash desks and a small enquiries desk at the back of the front of house section of the branch. I’ve had call to use both facilities in the past and we continue to do so.

The staff in the behind the counter in this branch are normally very friendly and helpful and when I visit the counter there is normally a jar of hard boiled sweets to help yourself too. I normally have to pop in a couple of times a week to deposit money or withdraw it. As I go at a lunch time there tends to be a big queue. However the only problem with this is that the bank does tend to get busy at lunchtime and for some reason they only have a couple of counters open which does seem a bit daft. There is always a queue at the enquires desk no matter when you go.

I normally use the enquiries desk when I want to transfer money across to Spain. I have done this several times and the staff behind the counter has always come across as being very helpful and knowledgeable about the service I’m using. The only grumble I have with this service is that some of the staff will fill out the form for you others just give you a pen so you have to do it yourself, but that’s just me being lazy. The charge for this service does vary on how much money you want to send across.

I’ve also used this branch when I applied for a mortgage with Nat West although in the end I didn’t bother going ahead with the mortgage as I had a change of circumstance which meant I need a different deal as I was now buying a place over in Spain.

Overall I would recommend this particular branch of the Nat Wet bank as a good place to go and conduct your banking business, as it is a friendly well run and efficient branch where the staff are always able to help answer any questions and deal with any problems that you may have. This particular branch is the one I prefer to use if I have to do any business with Nat West.
