NAACP To the RESCUE

Why is it that everytime a black person in a high profile job gets into trouble, the NAACP has to get involved. I don't remember the kkk getting involved with the impeachment of Bill Clinton. The NAACP is saying that to ban Michael Vick from the NFL is too harsh. Personally I think that is really the least of Vick's worries as he is facing Federal charges which could carry a $250,000 fine and up to 5 years in prison not to mention charges he may also face in Virginia. I am tired of seeing people in high profile jobs being given preferential treatment. And its not just black folk either, its all people in high profile positions. I feel like Martha Stewart was given preferential treatment among others. If it was the average Joe, they would put us under the jail and throw away the key. If I were to get in trouble with the law I wouldnt get to keep my job, why should it be any different for anyone else? I don't hear of anyone trying to save Jose Offermans' job in baseball either. Maybe they ought to get some kind of Dominican Repulic organization to do that!!!
