MySpace Craze...the other side of the story....

We all know about the semi-new Peer Networking Site known as MySpace. Sure we have all hear about the negative sides about the site on the news. Personally, I feel bad for Tom (the creator of MySpace) because all that he’s been receiving from the media is negative reviews, and this has got to stop. For all of the parents, teachers, and adults in general out there who will probably end up flaming me later about this, who do you think you are to criticize someone’s work? Tom doesn’t go around saying how bad you teach, or how bad of a doctor you are, or how much you could improve in your job, which I might add, with over 72 million people in his network, he could do some real damage.

All of you say that you’re just protecting your child from harm by sexual predators and other stalkers out there on the WWW. Well guess what? MySpace has an age limit….yes to unless your child lied about their age in the first place (which are based off of lessons learned outside of MySpace, I might add) then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about, because at about a certain age, we are mature enough to know what kind of people to stay away from online.

After all of the negative reviews out there on the News about how MySpace is dangerous to the youth of today, it’s no wonder that most adults are against it. Think about it this way, how many of you parents and teachers out there who are “concerned
