My Take on Online Education

It is difficult to learn whether online schools were accredited, and in many cases, the degree if the degree is worth anything. For example, if you want to teach English in China, they will not recognize online degree.

The world accreditation is used to scam so many students it isn't funny. It is important to learn whether the online school is accredited by the same organization that brick-and-mortar universities are accredited at. Not only that - is it the same organization that accredits the major universities? It is also important to learn whether all courses are accredited. An accredited school can teach non-accredited courses - and they don't need to tell students which are which.

In fact, a school can have 10 accredited courses and 50 non-accredited courses and then advertise itself to make people believe the entire university is accredited.

I tested 15 school's BA course with the Canadian teacher's college to see if they would accept the degrees for admittance. Not one passed. Of course, there are many Ontario colleges that have low standards and didn't qualified either. It makes you wonder what you are paying for.

This explained why so many university grads remain unemployed. When I was younger, if you had a degree, then you had a degree. It is very important to enroll with a reputable school, especially if you are investing in something like a distance learning phd

Here is a fairly new distance learning university. Founded in 1993, Capella University is an accredited* online university that offers graduate degree programs in business, information technology, education, human services, and psychology, and bachelor’s degree programs in business and information technology.
