My son got 3rd place in the Halloween Costume Contest

Tonight my son's elementary school had a benefit type thing at the local skating rink. For everyone that attended from his school, they would give his school a dollar.

It was kind of Halloween themed. They wanted to kids to come in costume. My son's costume was a power ranger spd costume.

This was the first time we had went to this skating rink. My son is six and hasn't been skating before. He got the skates on and skated on the carpet, but wasn't to interested. They have a huge play area in the back which I think is awesome.

So anyhow, when it was time for the costume contest, he went and got in line with the other kids against the wall. There was alot of kids and alot of costumes. The judges got together, and he was the first person they called for third place.

I was really proud, I know it was a confidence booster to him.

He got a little trophy, and they took the three winners picture together. They are going to put it on their website.
