My Silly Cats

Every morning, my silly cats wake me up demanding that I fill their bowls. There are three of them, and the task is strategically split: one gets on the bed and purrs into my ear; if that does not work, the other one starts scratching the wall. When I do get up, they lead me to their food bowls where the third one already sits on display, as if to say, "Yes, we are all hungry!!"

Well, guess what: there IS food in the bowls. In all three of them. I never forget to fill them before going to bed, so even if the gang munches some during the night, there is always food left. BUT, they want me to get up, come, and fill the bowls!

I guess they just think it's my job, and believe it their job to make sure I do it. I mess with them by lifting each bowl, shaking it, and putting it back on the floor (you should see them carefully watching the procedure). Obviously, that qualifies as getting my job done: they all start eating.
