My Place Iz Here At The Blogginparty.Com... An' I Found Out The Hard Wayz

Ladies and Genitalmen, ya'll ever feel like you just don't fit in at sum place? I been exsparementin' over to the writin'up.com bloggin' place and things jest didn't pan out there...Oh sure, I got me a load of folks that been readin' the couple of postin's I put up there, but I jest didn't get the feelin' that I waz fittin' in, least wayz not like I do here.
Them folks over there are different that the folks here for the most part, even tho, I recognized a few of ya'll over there from time to time, and your writin' sounded jest as good over there as it does when I M readin' it here, but I got a overt-welmin' sence of bloggin' dis'placementation and grammatical infeority that made writin' and what-not difficult to near impossible to resemble or even replicate to them standards and I had that uneasy-like feeling that smirks and eye-rollin' was happenin behind my back...not that that is anything new for Ol' Bob, but I waz hope'n that I could be makin' sum flavorable impressions there like I done here...I reckon that there comes a time when a person jest has to pull up his chair to the right front porch and sit still... and enjoy the scenry that's bein' provided to ya.
Lesson learned.

Adios,
A_Bob

They say that real intelligence is the ability to realize and accept one's place in life. Most of us are still wandering around searching for it. That front porch sounds pretty good to me.

P.S. I attended high school in a town of less than 1000. My high school history teacher was fond of telling us that we didn't need to leave town to see the world. "Just go down to the corner where the highway goes through town and watch the traffic go by for a few hours." I can't help but think of all the time and trouble I would have saved myself if I had believed him. :)

I've heard that very same ax'pression before Jeanne

it wasn't from no relation though...the Mother Superiority down to the orphanag'd used to tell me "Bob, you should go stand in the middle of the highzway and let the fates take you where they will...her ax'act meanin' waz lost on me till later years...for the longest timez I thought the "fates" was a family lookin' to be adopt'n lil Ol' Bob.

Adios Bob
