My New Computer Mouse

It isn't my birthday or anything, but I am one happy Googler now. While browsing through Staples yesterday, looking for something else, I found a Logitech Marble Mouse. Actually, my son noticed it first and said, "Hey Mom, theres a mouse like yours that you've been looking for."

I bought one of these nifty items about 3 years ago and absolutely love it. My old one has literally had so much use that I fear its departure to mouse heaven could be on the horizon. I have looked unsuccessfully for two years for another of these handy computer gadgets, thinking to put one on the other computer or, at least, have a spare in the event of the old one's demise. So, yesterday, it was like having one of those Eureka moments.

The Logitech Marble Mouse stays in one spot, not moving around the mouse pad like other mouse devices. Actually, I don't use a mouse pad with this as there is no need for one. Because of this, it doesn't take up any room at all at my desk, but the best benefit is for my arm and wrist. With this little wonder, my arm does not get tired of pushing something around and around the pad, and my wrist gets no action at all. My hand just lies on top of this thing, letting my index finger easily roll the ball around. It is so much more comfortable than the traditional mouse. I would highly recommend a mouse of this type to anyone who has the same arm/wrist trouble, perhaps stemming from either injury or arthritis. Happy Googling!

those mice are quite nice

i've always thought it would be cool to have a joystick instead of a mouse, with a little button at the top for clicking. They used to sell them for computer games. wonder where i could get one of those?
Tablets with pens are also cool...
