My job interview went really well, considering I looked like I just rolled out of bed. Seriously, I was wearing the same wrinkley khakis that I wore yesterday, and a green casual sweater, and brown boots. My eyes had bags under them, and chapstick would not make a dent in my parched lips. My eye make-up looked nice though:)
It was cold in the room, so I was sweating profusely. I had to take a few personality tests and a vocabulary test (which was quite hard, I'd say the equivalent of the GRE's) which I aced.
The lady who interviewed me was really nice. Then I found out she was one of my friends moms! So ofcourse I got the job. I will have my own little cubicle (just like in Office Space!).
The benefits are amazing...It's a full-time job, and they will reimburse my gym membership/dance classes. There is health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, direct deposit, weekly paychecks. They even have tuition reimbursement for college. (I will be going to Rowan in the fall to pursue my Master's degree in psychology). And the best thing of all: every 3 months the company takes the employees out and does something cool with them. For Halloween, they went to a really expensive haunted place (I forget what it was called). Last month they took them to broadway to see "Wicked". I know I will love working there.
So I just called the board of education and told them I will not be available to be a substitute anymore. Subbing was okay sometimes, it was cool when I saw someone I knew that I had not seen in a while...but a lot of the kids try to take advantage of me, and they get very noisy. Plus I will be making a lot more money now, and doing something that applies to my career.
