My Husband's Cell Phone is About to Disappear.
I have a cell phone. Yes. But I only use it when absolutely necessary and mainly as a source of communication with my agencies. If I don't recognize the number calling me I won't answer it, and if I am hanging out with family or a friend, I let it go to voicemail if I know it's not essential that I pick up.
My husband has a cell phone too. He used to use it moderately, but lately the man will pick up anytime, all the time and for anyone who calls. And while I'm sure some of the calls are legit, such as the ones from his boss yadda yadda....I am at the end of my rope when he takes social calls in the middle of our "together time" which is rare and always includes watching a DVD (ok, not that kind of DVD either. have mercy, we are married and have 2 kids and anyone married with 2 kids knows it's Blockbuster and that's it) or when he's in the middle of playing trains with our son. I especially love it when the kids are screaming and he is mid convo with a friend and not even the friend can realize that maybe this isnt a good time to be talking football or politics.
The guy is a great provider, supportive husband and fun dad but this cell phone crap has got to stop. I think I am about to make it disappear and replace it with something I make out of one of the many toilet paper rolls I'm hoarding.
