My Husband is Still Talking about a Hair Transplant

I know I've blogged on hair restoration before. Do you ever notice how many things in life you ignore, until it effects you? My husband wishes he wasn't bald. But, I am not sure that I want him to do something dangerous, just so he can have hair. There are several methods of hair restoration that promise to grow hair, but when I actually challenge their claims, the guarantees are worthless. It was easy to challenge the success of a clinic's transplant method - surf the web. People are always gripping about how successful, or unsuccessful hair transplant methods are. The most successful method seems to be when they transplant the follicular units. The problem isn't in the method, it is in the success rate. The franchises can't guarantee results. Not everyone can create a natural looking hairline. The only website I found that didn't have tons of negative feedback was Dr. Pistone(www.drpistone.com) New Jersey Hair Restoration. It surprised me to learn that hair transplant should be done by a surgeon, not a doctor.
I am not sure whether my husband will go for a hair transplant. There is more involved than most people understand. They take months to complete, and can be f expensive.
And, few doctors do more than run people through a hair transplant mill. I want to know the complications. By getting all of the information, on the surgical procedures such as Follicular Unit Transplantation. That is why I keep coming back to Dr. Pistone’s website. My main concerns are: Who is going to be performing the procedure? Who will be taking care of the preparation and implantation of the grafts? I don't want my husband to get his hair back, but have clumpy areas, or a 'gorilla' looking hairline.
