My Final Farewell To WritingUp

Well, I have been thinking and talking about getting rid of my blog at WritingUp and I have finally made the decision to do so effective today. After reading a lot of posts about other bloggers there getting their AdSense accounts banned I deleted my AdSense information from there....but have still posted every few days or so.

Well, I've noticed my readership there dwindling and after reading some pretty lame comments on there the past few days, I've been turned off to the site pretty much completely. This has nothing to do wth the Admin, I never had problems with him. I just don' think they are getting enough traffic and to be honest I feel a lot more intellectually stimulated here at Bloggerparty.

The other bloggers on this site seem to be a lot more active with their comments and have much more in depth and interesting things to say. I'm sure there are a lot of great poeple on WritingUp, but in my opinion, the quality of writing and commenting is much higher here.

So, as of this moment, my WritingUp blog is no more. I'll probably leave what I've written on there for lack of time to go through and erase everything....but you will be seeing a lot more of me on Bloggerparty now that I don't have to "swing" anymore. ;-)

adsense acount banned?

Hi,
You mean members of writing up are getting their adsense account banned just because of blogging there? I am really concerned.

Banned Adsense

You can peobably find a lot of info about the Writingup/Adsense banned thing on other blogs on BP. It was a pretty hot topic for a while, but to summarize, there's rumors that WU has false clicks. This is a big no-no of Adsense. Suddenly people began warning others not to use WU as a blogging tool because onece it's gone, it's gone for good.
I have had problems with them, not relate to false clicks, so I stopped blogging there. In addition, there was too much bad publicity surrounding WU. If I am going to invest my time in blogging somewhere I hope to gain REAL feedback, make LEGIT money and HAVE FUN.

Model Mom - I would LOVE to have you here more! I hope you do leave there. Besides, WE LOVE YOU AT BP!!!

Model - My son was acting up too! I don't get it! I was on my last nerve. He was being mean...well, I guess you can't really call a 9 month old "mean", but I just couldn't take it. I soooo feel you on that.

oh i totally believe little ones can be mean! its so funny that you mention that. i told my hubby today that our son was being so mean to me and he kinda rolled his eyes (thanks mister, you get to be away for work 10 hours a day...believe me our son gets m.e.a.n.!) he has started smacking me when he doesnt get his way. and the tantrums....oh lovely. my favorite is when he goes limp and the back of his head practically hits the back of his feet all while screaming bloody murder. and i am no doormat mom either!

here's to a better day for our boys tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, hubby actually says all the time, "You think YOU have it hard? Try working with a bunch of incompetitant idiots all day long!"

I say, "I WISH I could work with idiots, at least they are adults! It's way harder raising a child who is 100% dependant on you!"

Ya know...

I have been on both sides of the fence - working and now raising kids. There's many days that the baby and I have a lot of fun, but there's more days that I think:
1. We need a nanny. I am never going to get this house clean
2. I would give my right arm to be at a job right now
and
3. I really miss talking to an adult, or anyone who has a vocabulary bigger than Ah-Goo and Ah-Boo.
