My Dog Is Gonna Explode!

We have been having a lot of rain here lately. When I say a lot, I mean washed away roads, flooding, trees falling over because of the high water levels. Anyway, my dear, darling dog has a thing about going outside to do her "business" when it is raining. We have now been having torrential rains for about the last 20 hours or so. In addition to the sheets of rain that are falling, we are also having some pretty strong winds blowing things around. Needless to say, my little 16 pound, stubborn Parson Russell refuses to set her dainty little feet out on the wet deck, let alone the wet grass in order to relieve herself. If she doesn't bite the bullet and just get the "job" done soon, she is going to explode! I don't think there is any way that that tiny little bladder and intestines can hold for very much longer. I tried to have her go out with me and do her thing while I stand there with an umbrella, but she still wouldn't leave the dry garage. I guess I will have to be ready to shampoo the carpet, 'cause when it hits her, I know she's gonna blow!
