Right now, as I am posting my latest blog entries - my kitten, Trixy, aged 4 months is draped across my shoulders - asleep.
Her little motor is running at a high RPM. I hear loud purring in my right ear.
It's been several years since I've had a cat in the house, and frankly I'd forgotten the idiosyncracies of these feline friends.
In truth, I've never had a house kitten - only old, bored cats. Or step-cats - they were my husband's when we got married.
It's been said that cats consider you their staff. That must be true because my little shoulder-sitter thinks I am at her beck and call.
