Audio: Medical studies that associate rheumatic & fibromyalgic symptoms to "thyroid autoimmunity"
While many people in the medical field believe joint & muscle pain in thyroid disease patients, can only manifest if thyroid hormones are imbalanced, the studies I refer to in this audio, state that the thyroid antibodies themselves (thyroid autoimmunity), can cause these rheumatic symptoms, even when thyroid hormones are normal (euthyroid). Well treated hypothyroid patients may still suffer joint/muscle symptoms from the disease, regardless of hormone levels.
