My 21 years of married life.

Time flies really fast-is it not?

Looking back, I could not suppress my surprise. I have been married for 21 years. But I still feel like a fresher out of college. I don’t feel the difference at all except when I see my teenage son. I think this happens to almost everybody.

Because when my close friend of my age came to invite me to attend her daughter’s marriage, she told me the same thing.

When I asked about what are her plans for the wedding, she informed me that she needed my help in this regard.

Oh! What can a maths professor do except to design the wedding invitation with a few angles. (smile)

While she left the wedding plans to

, she wanted me to help her decide on the most suitable plan from the 10 different plans offered by them.

So we sat in front of my system and opened their website.

I was pleasantly taken aback by so many choices over decoration, food menu, favor ideas, entertainment games and gifts to the guests.

I liked their organizational methods and execution, competitive rates and overall customer care.

After spending an hour over the choices, I finally settled on ‘The Orient Express’ which has the following features:
A Chinese restaurant cater dinner, a sushi chef to make rolls, and serve mini-pad thais as an appetizer.

Scatter colorful paper lanterns and parasols ( I am mad over parasols) to ornate origami, festive décor is just one trip to Chinatown (or a visit to an online supplier) away.

For centerpieces, it suggests exotic and fragrant orchids, colorful lotus blossoms or just fanciful origami creations.

Fried bananas or mango ice cream and personalized fortune cookies as favors were tempting to me and can be so to the children.

My friend told me that I have not changed one bit-be it the choice of flowers, gift ideas or colors.

Ok, this may well explain why I still feel like an unmarried college girl.
