Yay! Some exciting things are happening lately. Well, as exciting as can be,considering. But we moved into our new APT (pronounced Ayy-pee-tee) last night. It's not too bad. Parts of it are bigger than the one we had in Flint. The living room is pretty huge. Maybe it just looks like that because all we have right now is a couch, a coffee table, and a corner table with a vase of bamboo on it. But barring the optical illusion of a larger size, I really think it is bigger. And the bedroom is pretty nice, too. We have a bed...so that helps when it's "sexy time." And the complex is really close to everything.

So saying all of that, I'm not a big fan of the bathroom. It's so samll, you have to walk outside of it just to change your mind. And the shower...ugh!!...the shower. We had to buy a new shower head for it or else we'd never get wet. But the worst part about it is that it's kinda low. So low, in fact, that it only comes up to about my left nipple. When washing my hair, I literally have to bend over backwards. And I'm not too sure about the toilet, yet. It may have met its match with me. So far, so good...but I have an industrial strength plunger in case any problems break out. No home should be without a good plunger. It's essential.

And I'm kinda scared about the gas stove. I don't have any experience with gas that doesn't involve me eating Taco Bell. I'm just afraid of blowing something up.

But I'm not complaining. I like the place. It's decent...although overpriced. Besides, it feels good to walk around in my underwear again. That wasn't a good idea the past few weeks when we were staying at Diana's parent's house. Or at least, that's what her mom told me the first time I did it. I think it was just because I was wearing fuzzy leopard print bikini briefs, though...that I got from her dresser.

On another exciting note, I'm being considered for a writing position for a newspaper here. I sent them my resume, they asked for a sample of my writing, I sent them that, they replied and said they really liked it and they would be getting in touch with me this week. So....YAY!!! And I've been blogging on other sites with different blogs just to get some feedback and I've been getting a ton of feedback. It's really great.
