Kamei's the man, and Reina's verging on one

Rika, shown here circa January 2008 with Ongaku Gatas, is very much the comedian on Japanese TV.

YO's rating: B | Wu-san and My Pleasant Vista score big with some extremely side-splitting screencaps, but what Japanese TV show is this from? Having Morning Musume's stars dress like hobos is, well, maybe nothing new, but it would be cool to find out who thought of this zany setup, and what purpose it's supposed to serve. Is this what Morning Musume does on concert/single hiatus? On the upside, it's refreshing to see Morning Musume get back to being comedians the way they used to in the old days (I guess Rika's always been like that). One final request: How can we get Japanese TV here in the States? What kind of bootleg fee does one have to pay to get the satellite feed? Bribe? Please, tell me!

I'm pretty sure those screencaps are from an old episode of "Hello! Morning" MoMusu's now deceased variety show.
