More On Journey Into The Unknown

My wife came home from work one day full of excitement. She knew she had news that I would like to hear. She knew my passion. I like to venture into abstract things. Only this time the news was not going to be about mathematics. This time it was about health and medicine.

The healer that I talked about in the previous post was going to offer a one-day healing class. It was going to be on a specified weekend and the cost was $500.

The guarantee was that you could heal yourself -- and perhaps other people too -- after completing the class -- just like he could. But I was not at all interested in healing myself or others at that time. I was only interested to know about his techniques and how he healed people.

You see, the story about the healer had become the talk of people at my wife's school. For us this was totally new. Could someone really heal people without any means -- no medicine, no diet, nothing at all? Could he really do it from a distance -- without having to see the patient?

This was almost a year ago in February 2007. The class was to be held in March 2007.

My first reaction was that the class was worth the money. The amount $500 could buy a lot of things. Nevertheless the urge to find out how the healer did it was strong.

Besides I wanted to do the public a favor. I wanted to provide an honest review of the course. If it turned out to be a scam then I could warn people about him.

So I signed up.

In the morning session we were given the overview of the course and an excursion into the powers of the mind. This went on till a short break at 10.30 am.

Then the class continued at 11.00 am till about 1 pm. This session was meaty. Techniques were thrown onto our laps. If I were to describe to you in a short phrase, I would say that the whole process depended strongly on one thing -- intuition.

He showed us ways to tap into our intuition. This was his method of scanning for diseases. In theory, it was easy. In practice, the two hours were barely enough to cover the tip of the iceberg.

Sure, intuition could manifest itself in certain bodily actions. For example, if we are doing something right then we could feel an inner peace. Heartbeat would be normal. On the other hand, a bad deed would create a kind of chaos and a lot questioning in the mind. The heart would race a little and there could be slight sweating.

But could we use intuition to scan for diseases? Even if it is possible, it could years of practice.

Nevertheless, that session was the start of a beautiful inner journey for the author.

After lunch we were exposed to healing techniques. All techniques depended heavily on the mind. Many of the attendees were still skeptical. If it were not for the seriousness of the teacher and if it were not for the testimonials that I have heard, I would have taken these lessons as a joke.

Later in the afternoon, we were given a real life case. The healer has got a call from a stage-four cancer patient. We were to apply the techniques we just learned to scan how much cancer she still had and then to eliminate all the cancer.

The healer himself also did his part in scanning and eliminating the disease.

Did it work? Later...
