Epocrates just announced their online service to healthcare profressionals so that better care can be provided to the patients...take for example if a patient is on Lisinopril and the patient comes into the Emergency Room because they have trouble breathing, right away, the nurses or doctors can look in the formulatory guide online about the medications and see if there can be any causes from the lisinopril since all the medications do have some side effects. Then there is the issue of drug interactions so this service can better help with the care and prescription plan treatment of this patient.
