Money-Grubbing Apple Weanies Going After Bloggers?

Submitted by Radreview on April 22, 2006 - 7:40am.

Something is drastically amiss here. Apple Computer is trying to argue that bloggers (or "web writers") are not legitimate members of the formal print media.

You know, those special people that the Constitution's First Amendment protects. But if the First Amendment is at issue here, it could be argue that it covers all of us -- not just those exalted ivory-tower Walter Cronkites and Mike Wallaces among us.

Such a court decision "against" bloggers would supposedly push the door open for Apple to legally harass bloggers with nuisance lawsuits to squelch that vast ocean of Internet public opinion that is making a lot of corporations very nervous.

Screw them.

This is when all of the peope should unite and not buy Apple products. They'd change that tune in a New York minute. This is an excellent post, and one that points the finger at big business. Blogging is a way for millions to get the "word" out on the streets. Keep re-submitting this blog post.

Apple is not the only culprit ...

... Microsoft can be dangerous when they break out those sharp legal knives. Google, the same way. They throw their weight around and are so powerful they circumvent personal rights whenever they want.
