Mom, The Cheerleader

Not quite as nefarious as previous posts on a similar subject, but a woman was arrested in the Green Bay, WI area for impersonating a high school student, with the express intent to try to become a cheerleader on the squad. Supposedly, she never got a high school degree and had a terrible childhood, and she wanted to participate in the high school experience and get it at this time.

What she did was stole her daughter's identity, registered, participated in the first day of classes, realized that high school was much harder than she thought it was going to be, and promptly decided it wasn't for her anymore; a two-time dropout! However, by doing that, people started to wonder where the new student had gone to, so there was an investigation, and, well, there you go. Oh yeah; the check she wrote for the uniform also bounced. For all of this she faces up to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

I've heard of people wanting to recapture their youth, but this one goes to the extreme.
