Miami Heat Basketball

Detroit Pistons | Dwayne Wade | Miami Heat | Shaq

Miami Heat Basketball looked very strong in the first 3 quarters of the basketball game tonight. The Miami Heat played last years defending Eastern Conference Champions, the Detroit Pistons. The basketball game was controlled most of the game by the Miami Heat. The first 3 quarters the Detroit Pistons had no answer for Shaq. The Detroit Pistons were not double-teaming Shaq, and Shaq was making them pay for it.

Shaq dominated the whole basketball game, and if he would have had some support the Pistons wouldn't have been able to take the lead in the 4 quarter. Shaq played very well, and usually fellow superstar Dwayne Wade provides Shaq with the help he needs. Tonight however, the Detroit Pistons were able to hold Dwayne Wade to under 30% shooting.

Dwayne Wade is a clutch performer and I know that this lost and how he played is going to motivate him for the rematch on April 6th.

A scary moment for the Miami Heat took place in the first half. Alonzo Mourning had to leave the game with a strained calf. Hopefully it isn't too serious. Alonzo Mourning has been a huge help off the bench for the Miami Heat this year. Because he went down it caused Pat Riley to have to play Shaq more. Those additional minutes in the game hurt Shaq towards the end of the basketball game.

Let's say a strong first half

The Heat lead at the half, but were actually outscored 25-16 in the third quarter so although the score was close at the end of the third they were actually getting their butts kicked at that point.
