Men's figure skating

The recently crowned Olympic champion Yevegny Plushenko won because he is a jumping machine. His technical elements are strong but what annoyed be was the fact that there was really bad choreography. If this is the message that figure skating is speaking now for skaters to be constant technicians. When this happens, skaters will get injured more. This sport has changed so much in the past few years. I'm not so sure I like the competition sport anymore. I still love figure skating because skaters do so much to make it all look easy and its fun to land a jump you've been practicing forever on. Back to the Olympics. Kudos to Evan Lysack of the United States, he did the freeskate of his life with a perfect program. He was the only skater to do so of the evening but unfortunately because of his disastrous short program he did not have a good standing enough to skate in the last group of medal contention skaters. What he ended up doing was get fourth place which is a good position because he held first place for a while. Plushenko, the gold medalist, used to have more artistry than he did now. I wonder what happened. All Plushenko did was jump, spin, footwork and add a bit of arms. It was really bland to watch his program.
