Man Cuts Off Own Hand After Seeing the 'Mark of the Beast'
An Idaho man believing his hand bore the 'mark of the beast' amputated the appendage with a circular saw and cooked it in his microwave Saturday before calling 911 the Associated Press reports.
Local authorities said the man was in his mid-20s and put a tourniquet on his arm before cutting off his hand so he didn't bleed to death.
The man is currently in protective custody in the mental health unit of Kootenai Medical Center.
The bible states that the 'mark of the beast' appears on the right hand or forehead of individuals who worship the devil.
A passage in the Book of Matthew says "If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell."
Authorities said they did not notice any unusual markings or tattoos on the amputated hand.

Poor guy but I can see how people could get into movies. My friends son recently broke his Wii when he was watchinhis two buddies play tennis. He threw his soda at it.
