In my ongoing search for paid writer markets I came across an interesting online service that will post your articles–even reprints–and offer them for sale. The service is called Constant Content, and it is unique in that it allows contributors to set their own licensing terms and price for use of their articles. You don’t have to charge money for your articles if you don’t wish, but many do. Licensing options range from temporary use to exclusive; obviously you would most likely charge more for an exclusive license than for a one time use.

What articles should you post, and how much should you charge for them? My advice for getting started with Constant Content is to check out the handy section titled “Recently Sold Content.� This is a listing of what articles are selling, for how much, and for what type of license. Tailor content to popular topics, OR post content you already have and seek out similar articles to see what authors are charging for them.

Within two weeks of joining Constant Content I earned thirty dollars for a one-time use of an article about holiday traditions that was a reprint I’d written two years prior. Not too shabby!
