About a year ago, I was alerted to the fact that some people actually earning an income on the internet working from their homes. Not having a clue about how any of this is done, I nevertheless thought I might like to try it. I gathered whatever information I could find and launched my missson, I expected to get a job 'tonight'.

The search began, and boy, did I search! At that time I had no clue that there was something called search engine, but I sure became one. 'Tonight' turned into weeks, then months, night after night I searched, sometimes staying up all night in the hope of finding somethiing suitable which I was certain I would be able to do, but nothing happened.

In the first place, I had no idea that to get one of these 'work at home opportunities' one had to buy a program. I thought you would just choose a program, sign up, and start working. Not so. Every program required money, and money was what I wanted to make, not seeking to spend, seeing I had none.

Secondly, I did not know that most of the sites advertising work at home jobs were scams. With no other choice in mind, eventually I gave in and signed up with one of the work at home advertisers and I experienced my first internet scam.
