M&I Bank Local, Online & Phone

I enjoy doing my banking at M&I. They are a really nice bank. One of the things I like are the convenience they offer. It is really close to where I work and it only takes me a few minutes to drive over do my banking and then head back to work. They are centrally located in town, not way on the outside of town. Another thing that I really like about M&I is that their drive up is open at 8 am. When I come into work, I can go to the drive up and take care of some of my banking instead of doing it in the middle of the day when everyone else is there waiting in line. Then all I have to do is leaving a couple of minutes early from home and I can get all my stuff done, instead of wasting my time after work, when all I want to do is get home.

The staff at the bank is always friendly and helpful. I have gotten loans at M&I and it has always been an uncomplicated process. I can’t imagine having to deal with anything less than the service they give. The minute I walk through the door they are smiling and ready to help. There are very few places which are like that. Usually, it is girls that aren’t getting paid much that don’t want to work anyway. At the drive up they all know me by name and are also very helpful. There isn’t a bad thing that I can say about them.

To me M&I is all “one” be it the bank in town, the drive up, the online banking, the 1-800 phone service there are so many facets of M&I that I use and I just love the way things are set up. I have several accounts in the online banking. It is easy to make transfers from one account to another. I use their online banking a lot and don’t think I could live without it. It is so easy to keep track of my finances. If I have questions, you can submit a question online and they will get back to you in a timely fashion. You don’t wait forever and ever to get an answer.

Just recently I had a problem with a payment made through a credit card. I called the 800 number at 11 pm and there was an personal banker available to help me. This was just wonderful. I got my problem resolved within a couple of minutes and the personal banker even suggested what would be the best thing to do in my situation.

One thing I wish M&I wouldn’t have done when we refinanced our mortgage was sell my mortgage to Countrywide. I liked the convenience of going to M&I and paying ahead on the mortgage. It saved me a lot of money. Now I can’t do that and I don’t think I am saving the money I would have at M&I. There was nothing I could do.

M&I is a great place to bank and would recommend M&I to anyone who wants good service and quality product.
