An American man mailed a cow's head to his wife's lover after a tiff.

Unfortunately the box containing the frozen head became wet with blood as it sat thawing on the victims doorstep throughout a warm day.

The man has been sentenced to probation, and has recently reconciled with his wife and young child since the 2006 offence.

There is no record what the victim did with cow's head though!

American story - but the significance of the cows head? I know the mafia cut off a race horse's head and put it in the owners bed to bring him into line!

it was the man's prized horse that got be-headed. That's why I wonder why he'd ship a cow's head. They must be ranchers or something. OR, maybe he's just that much a loon and it means nothing! LOL

to the wife? Sheesh! People do the weirdest things. At least it was just a cow's head and the cow had probably been slaughtered for food first. At least, I hope so. Oooooo! I just gave myself the willies with that line of thought.
