Lose Weight

What really works for losing weight? Should we try these fad diets or clubs. Or is it just hard work. Well for me it was walking, eating off small plates, drinking lots of water and taebo videos. I lost a total of 75 pounds. I felt better and really looked better. I think the best I looked my whole life. I did taebo three to four times a week. I had one day off and the other day I walked for an hour and a half.

I still ate what I wanted, I just ate less and had smaller portions. I ate ice cream and that. Just not as often and when I did I had a smaller ice cream than I would have. I realized that by working out each day, avoiding caffiene sugar is a big thing, coffee, tea, pop, it has alot of sugar which is just awful for you. so limit to one coffee a day. Most of my liquid I took in was 90% water. You can eat what you want, just watch it when you deprive yourself of stuff I tend to find you end up eating more of it.

If your feeling unmotivated. Just do it. Once your done you will feel better. Finding a friend is great or sign up at one of these fitness magazine sites message boards... theres lots of tips and support. Diet pills don't work. I've tried it and it did me no good. Plus some of it isnt good for your heart. There are no quick fixes my doctor told me. Be realistic however long it took to gain the weight is usually roughly how long it will take to get off. No weight falls off in a month unless your on the biggest loser show. Which is a great show by the way. I find watching that show can really motivate people. Seeing other people's sucess just reminds you. You can do it too!!!!!!!!

Great Ideas!

I posted an article on the Atkins Diet. I am in agreement with you about all the "Fad Dieting". I too have found your solution to work. Moderation is the key. Another idea that helps me is if i am having steak or something hign in fat that I really, really love, eat a big salad BEFORE you start on your main dish. By the time you get to your entree you are all ready half full! My father was suggested, by his doctor, to try to put your fork down when you are talking or involved in good conversation. Sometimes your eyes are bigger than your stomach and taking a quick break between bites helps you realize that you are full!
